I was thinking to write over this issue since quite a long time but couldn't actually got a whip. Recently while taking a glance over a wheeler at Kanpur station I read Chetan's lines  that contained  the same expressions that wanted a channel through my words. Today the generation of youth has wings of fire with excellent confidence to achieve what they aspire for, a great deal of flexibility and openness for change with changing times and almost all essential attributes with which they can arrange every bit of their lives in a beautiful manner.

Moving ahead, being in love is the most sacred feeling a person hones making him self- motivated and inspired at all times. The fact that one is held in the continuous concern of someone gives a sense of completeness and being truly connected to one more strong and similar entity of universe. Now centering your life around love is the most beautiful thing one can do but making love your universe needs a brief introduction. Today the meaning and purview of love has changed and as a consequence the most tender and   bare age misses out their original instincts that calls out for fulfilling their dreams, reaching their goal and making their lives not love-locked but love-blessed. Having love in life is like having the strongest support with which one gains a lot confidence to confront any hurdle and proves that it compliments your life and helps in collating other tottered pieces. It pushes us forward towards what we truly are and what else we can add up to keep on rising along the stairs of self realization so that towards the dawn of life there is no regret and a lot of accomplishments that one weaved and aspired since he starts weaving dreams. Since everyone has got only one life it's ridiculously unfair to make it concealed for something that in real doesn't bear a virtue of control. I am writing this because deep down in our country the concept of controlling lives of others and surprisingly of the one whom you love the most sinks into a depressive territory where so many freedoms are getting negotiated in the name of some narrowed obligations.

Take a simple example of Indian bridal selection. It is really disheartening that today also people of India are held back with their conventionally unjustified demands of a bride that can feed their bellies, can adjust into their originality,  no matter how efficiently and beautifully she has been taking her life to all the levels of excellence at work. Well an independent, free-spirited and soulful girl has all rights reserved to maintain her thoughts and preserve her principles without any change and compromise for the sake of new relation because relations do not expect, they accept and they accept more.

Today the depictions of Indian society is creating a graveyard of free spirits in a face lifting, enormously unrealized number making this world devoid of the synergy it requires for a progressive and healthy place to live. It is a matter of disquiet that the issue is given least heed to the countries like India where human value has still got least priority when it comes to loosen some ulcerous knots in fossilized thinking that is eating away the soul of the nation. What picture are we creating when we choose a fair skinned, well virtue d  ductile girl over a successful, well accomplished, confident girl just because some people think they might not fit? What and why do we Indians aspire for fitting in and why not making bigger acceptances to enlarge the scope of positive and progressive changes which this nation is in dire need of.

It is a matter of great concern that India being a mosaic of emotional beehive that gives it an edge to come out as an ethical and spirited country still is caged in some really disgusting concepts that has hardened into the roots. 

Our friends and families need to understand that all we can follow is our hearts because spirits cannot be asked for any negotiation cause it will be like murdering one more soul. Feel high in love, try to rise in love cause we often do not get an idea when and how we lose some things that is ours. Stop following people because at the end when we you will stop you will feel that it's too late to revert back and by then you may be addicted towards getting the directions from outside  you when you had fair chances to make your own. Follow your dreams, preserve all the love that will always compliment you to reach out to them, celebrate lives, create a great life, a great story, a great and healthy relation with you and yours.

Another eye-opening and sensitive issue of our society that is one hard core truth not being accepted and understood the way it should be, despite the fact that every second child including me and you at some point of time is the victim. Child sexual abuse is quite common and to no surprise can be realised in our surroundings if we have an eye to see and recognise the perverts prevailing in our own neighbourhood in numbers. Indian society that is considered to have one of the most rich cultures when we talk about our behavioral attributes to our relatives and kin, hides several such issues of embarassment, humiliation and assault that is rarely surfaced and vindicated from the heavy heart of the victims. Cause the tender age that is unable to decide and open up while he/she is undergoing an emotional and physical torture becomes a robbed entity whose childhood has been turned into a hell. The child may prefer to forget and cut out this part of his/her life than to tell anyone and rekindle the pain of their pampered hearts. A child is much more adult thatn an adult is and has much more original and natural emotions that a grown up might have. These feelings unknowingly create a hesitation to share those things that might hurt or anger or frustrate their loved ones, no matter what and how badly they themselves are suffering. The hugeness of their concern and thinking is something that should be intuitively known to each and every parent so that they create such a bond that the child finds no difference in between him and them. There are possibilities that despite such intimacies and closeness, some factors might intimidate or refrain the child from speaking up and gather the courage to confront such beastful gestures but we are the only one who have to make sure that they are safe and secured.

The sickness of abusers can be found too common, some are daring to  put it into practice while some satisfy their delirious urges by indirect means but the most horrifying aspect is that in both the cases the victim is tormented equally. We may find people whose way of looking or talking or touching itself speaks up for their intentions and the dirtiness of mind. They might be all good in other activities and gestures but these uninvited courtesies make so many around them uncomfortable. We in our professional and social life are held among deluge of such people whose risque and gross manners make us feel like banging their heads against their walls and bring them in front of masses to open the cup of their mind to show how much frowsty flesh is in there. We know stuffs, we know our rights and power and thus are able to defeat their intentions but this in no manner reduces their number and changes their thinking. Kids who are not aware of the types of people around them, nor they have any idea of things that may be bad become easily accessible and tameable victims to them. And their understanding towards whatever is happening to them takes a lot of time to protest and confront them. By that time the child shrinks into his own cocoon and surrenders himself/herself to the situation . The pain, the mental trauma, the tormented soul and the raped childhood are something beyond our imagination. Everyone wants to look back in the garden of yore where lies their childhood, smiling and full of happiness. But some childhoods are like the darkest lanes with hounding voices of monsters that would haunt them whenever they would try to remember their past.

The survivors on the show gathered all the courage to reminisce once again that part of their life which they want to burn out and proved that will and audacity of hope can heal every wound. There are many untold stories in the eyes of your child that needs to be heard and a strict lesson equivalent to death needs to be given to all such disgraceful and sick minded people who lose their dignity by insulting one of the most natural forms of God.

Thank you Amir to unfold this chapter to make us realise that we need to be more vigilant towards our children and make them smart enough to root out such hateful practices.The relatives, friends, aquaintances and others are most welcome to share our happiness but they will never be allowed to own it.

Any social canker that we all  are aware of but pretend not to do anything with it succeds in fostering its roots deep into the society where somewhere, sometime we all get affected.Changes that we all want to see but think before making a step forward to make one, proves that our will still has to reach at the top where we would understand power in ourselves. 

With all such themes, Amir Khan's production Satyameva Jayate came up with its first episode on female foeticide. It presented the case of three victimised and physically and mentally traumatised women whose pain and sufferings are beyond our tolerance limits. They seemed to be belonging to a different kind of world where fossilised thinking, beastness and barbarity has further defeated the purpose of humanity, a world of which we are not at all aquainted with. We cannot chalk out a single reason behind this sin because people involved belong to different backgrounds, different mindsets indicating that the custom of murdering is prevalent in various sections of the society.It might be our neighbourhood or own house. Amir has tried to show and put up a realisation that whatever we hear or read in the newspaper are not only true but the consequential effects are awfully disgraceful which never allows us to say ourselves humankind again.

We, the watchers cried at their story and wished that nothing such should be the story of anyone else. But here we realise that wishes are just to second that close your eyes and nightmare will vanish. It's true that we are only culpable of the crimes that we might not support but might not be against them.Contributing your conscience towards the upliftment of humanity, upliftment of India doesnt demand much of our efforts but just a commitment that we make our own decisions which would be unbiased, unaffected by the promoters of hateful acts.Killing a child based on its gender is something so disdainful that defeats all noble deeds that one might have done in his life cause it opens up that corner of his mind where devils live and waited for a chance to come out.Noone can decide anyone's life even if he is related to him/her by blood.Making an authoritorian command over others life shows the insecurity and power of the weakness inside, leading the person to dump his baseless thoughts on someone whom he considers weaker than him. 

All the three ladies who survived in the mayhem sooner or later need a nation-wide salute that might help them in healing the lifelong wound they have on their hearts. It's something that can happen to anyone, anytime in life because even now our eyes and minds sometimes fail in recognising deceitful people.But if we are strong , our thinking is strong and we do have a respect for our own life, I think we can be a good warrior at this warfront. A message to all those sinners and murderers who still do not find out where are they wrong," You are born with a heart but you will die heartless;You are born with a mind but you willl die mindless;For all that you are doing you are already dead and your efforts in decorating your graveyard will one day make your self the charmer of this place."

For all such bravehearts who mustered up to pull themselves up together to live life again with a fresh start forgetting all that has happened, I can say," Life that turns out meaningless and unfair, calls that it's time to give your life a new meaning and those who listen to this call are the real heroes, heart made of rocks and hands made of self crated destiny."

CHANGE MAKERS

When it comes to elucidate divides in India, I really find myself too lean and inadequate since there is too much in its history and barrage of trails in the present. Should I start with the social divide in post ancient India arising the concept of caste which was originally based on profession but afterwards turned into a conventional loathsome practice boring deep roots in the democracy as well. Or should I mortalise the bitter fact once again that religious divide in India still has the efficacy to rip off and burn all the developments and achievements of a nation into dross and ashes of anguish and disputations. Believe it or not India has always been divided at one point of time which multiplies in each period. And every disparity, be it social, economical, religious or self borne has done no good to us as a nation.

If as a noble, conscious and responsible citizen we offer ourselves in dwindling anyone of theses divides to an extent of ecstasy, we might consider ourselves change-makers.

What a spiritual or a moral guru says about self-practices to improve the quality of life of self and then of people who make societies and nation is something like start the charity from your own home and effects will be dispelled outside. The national movements which take on social evils as their target to eradicate and cobble, demand the participation of the nation to make them most effective and fruitful. The protests in different manners for socio-economic good led by gritty people who are truly unbiased and apolitical may be referred as one of the most courageous steps towards budging for a perfect world they often envision. People like Binayak Sen emerge time to time to fight for the mass which is powerless and bogged down under the weight of liabilities and radicalised mindsets throwing an open thought in the air that we really need change: change in our fossilised thinking, change in the approach towards attending simplest problems, change in the purpose. But unfortunately such people many times fail to make any difference and even after getting dilapidated and subjugated become a forgotten case.

To avoid sudden freak, changes may be done starting from the datum level. It is an irony that India definitely has many levels of that kind and at each level we can find number of cankers still stealing the soul of the nation. Exemplifying, a sugar coated term for the exchange of gifts among the alliances in lieu of exchange of faith and beliefs also popularly known as dowry, where self respect that something we earn, dies, still dwells fearlessly in Indian society. In name of carrying on the legacy of the ancestors that divided themselves on the basis of colours of the skins and their legacies, caste system has still its roots deep in the minds of dogged people. When everyone having the primary education mugs by heart that violence and aggressiveness is not from our cultural hierarchy and still we cry upon foeticide and domestic violence, we are the most dangerous species of mankind holding a mask on the face with a demon inside. The intricacies of such evils can be diluted by having a self consciousness among ourselves on behalf of young generation that what we do, what we intend to do and what we may do has an impact on the world around us. A life without a stain is not impossible to have. Everyone can do at least things towards every little thing they think should change the way it is and these changes will prove that we care for humanity and the glory of human being. With a little immunity towards insult and humiliation, we can empower ourselves in rationalising the thoughts and cleaning the dust over the skin of our own surrounding where tomorrow next generation will move on the trails left behind.

Parenting for illustration is a kind of movement when we fight for the good of someone we truly love and care. Children are the blind followers with least idea at the beginning of the logics and reasoning. But the inputs to them not only come from the family but from the society in the most effective manner. So if they are lying, deviating, ‘changing’ then it is totally us culpable of distorting the shape of our own future. Youth of every age is the force of desire and needs a direction from the leaders of the society. Creating examples and principled benchmarks by paying off the value of our education at personal and social levels induces a hope that perfection is on its way and the change would be seen when we start assessing the potential in everyone to fight against every injustice or abuse or activities that pollutes the ambience.

Not every time we get a chance to correct our lives because life is a boomerang; everything comes back. Sometimes despite of hard efforts mistakes are never compromised and are done at the stake of moral loss.

It is evident since the advent/breakthrough of human civilization that man has always found his residence near or among the basic natural landmarks like rivers,mountains and forests. There are further evidences where ancient man has attached his emotional and religious intrests with the nature. In the lap of nature he has comforted himself by having food at ease,by hiding himself from the direct exposure of outer world,by adventuring the secrets of diversified greenery where is hidden the secrets of a healthy life and by protecting himself from the phenomenon like sunstrokes,rain and flood.Early man used to worship Gods in the form of trees which provided them all things needed for their survival for long times. The bigger and greener trees implied bigger and greater life of people relying on it. No doubt that trees and forests are the reasons behind man being so strong today that his strength has now become a curse on himself. Man being the most rational among all the creatures, in the blind race of advancement and modernization has forgotten the utter importance of a green cover that he has torn apart to build the castle of his comfort. For sure science and technology has shown a remarkable transformation of man from being a hunter to a sophisticated robot but this change has been made at the cost of the health and life of mankind. From the air we breathe to the news we read in the morning,from the medicines we take to extend our span of life to the electricity we boast of ,today each and every product that we have,each and every services we enjoy are the results of changed perspective of man where he chose luxury among comfort and health .Cutting of forests to build houses and industries ,shredding of trees to manufacture paper, medicines, cosmetics, detergents etc is not only crippling the biological balance but has also since last couple of years has raised a serious threat of global warming that would directly attack our existence.The problems of soil erosion,frequent earthquakes,landslides and floodings,heating up of the atmosphere,rise in diseases like skin cancer,bacterial attacks where elevated temperature is quite favourable for bacteria breeding and many more are not all of a sudden events but the results of our gradual mischieves and ill treatment with the nature.

Seeing the economic significance of forests and our unavoidable dependence on them deforestation is a quite concerning and critical issue that requires a serious attention . The livelihoods of 1.6 billion people depend on forests. 30% of the world's forests are primarily used for production of wood and non-wood products. Wood energy is the dominant source of energy for over two billion people. It is estimated that forest products contribute about 1% of world gross domestic product (GDP) through wood production and non-wood products. Even more important is fuel wood and fodder, especially in developing nations, where people depend on wood almost entirely for their household energy.

Forests not only provide a shelter to a diverse group of species and stand up as a saviour green cover on the earth but it also proves that disappearing forests is symbolizing the disappearance of habitat and biological entities soon or after. The most disappointing and aching issue is that despite knowing our reliability and dependence on forests and trees ,we are allowing them to go away.The earth is getting browner and concrete ,hounding with the different types of noises and is suffocating out of the human ventures and artificialities where there is no filter,no recycle,no replenishment and no second chance. When we cut a forest ,it is not only the trees that go but along with them,the biological cycle tears apart ,hopes of being bony,robust and happy also fades down.

Today also in the dark forests of Africa and others there are still some tribes that are living with,in and among the trees and forests and are still aloof from the so called civilized and modernized world. As compared to us,they may not be enjoying the tastiest cuisines of the world or they may not be having the latest fashionable wardrobe to cover their bodies or they may not be in contact with the people all around the world through internets and media but this is for sure that they are more healthier than us,they are stronger than us,they could listen to the sign and symbols of Mother Nature,they are happier than us and definitely they live for more number of years that we do.

There are some sensitized communities and groups all over the world that are continuously since last few years working real hard to conserve forests and spreading awareness among the people to realize its importance and need. WWF along with local communities and social icons is helping to carry on projects and fruitful works to make a difference and pass on the message of go green from generation to generation for marking the results as a sustainable development. Need is to join hands, gather the informations related to our current issues and bring back the forests back to the land.
