A picture to see..to be in..

A bright sunny day where wind is fresh,
Sea waves carry the breeze, so clear.
The lighthouse stands still in pride,
To look for the pirates if any near.

My window opens up to let in
The blushes of the morn knocking
The bird woke up, made up her nest
I am all ready to hear her talking.

Sand is cold with the dew and tide
My feet could walk through miles
Along the beach that makes me smile
like the serene, blue, happy shore lines.

I put up my blue balls at the azure
which seems today bit glee.
With hovering clouds like balls of wool
and as broad & blue as sea.

Leo

Well the story started six years back when a batch of 10 freshers from different engineering streams were brought together to join a fraternity (known as club then) which later on took them on a beautiful journey of their teamship and friendship. Each one of them had a different attitude, a different perspective, a different personality that shaped the skin of Leo Batch-2k5 as a bunch of young people with colourful ideas, full of zeal, motivation and an intuitive promptness of being together forever. The differences are never so big that cannot be leaped and this little thought led them stay together, connected. Today after crossing the stage of fun, laughter and group-ing ,all of them are successfully working as most promising employees in their companies carrying leoism still in their hearts that always motivates from the past to move ahead to keep on exceling and be the achievers.
These 10 faces may change their features in different batches but the spirit of 'once a leo always a leo' fosters in every group and their stories are repeated time and again. While looking at this poster I remember each one of us standing all together enchanting 'We serve together' which we used to convey in our every meeting, every program, every club-activity and every fun-filled hour. It doesnt matter how busy we are but the past that has already been created sticks to our story. Some of us are still in contact, some might be just in thoughts but I just want to put down the picture that after more than 6 years I still remember about them that might be my life long memories. Let us begin with the LEOs:

LEO Deepti Jha: A girl that already had created a history after being enrolled as a mining engineer was  the pride of of our batch which was known for not many great things. I had no interaction with her till we met in the club meeting where on the same day we got inducted and became Leos.I was more happy to be known to this girl than to be a part of Leo club. Her discipline, her clarities, her being with us added an air of confidence and hopes in every work that we turned into our accomplishments. As a vice president to the club, her 'yes' was a 'yes'and 'no' a 'no'.This firmness made us able to stand as a rock before every wrong that could have affected us.Deepti.......always smiling, happy, lively and thankful to life for whatever it gives. She had lot in it which I couldnt listen to and didnt get a chance to share but with her, every work used to get a frame to be done with perfection in stipulated time period. She was  favourite among all her teachers, her seniors, her friends and all. At present, working as a mining engineer in Hindustan Zinc Limited,Udaipur.

LEO Sumit: Another mining engineer who was quite easy going in a group of ten ready to solve problems that might appear big. It's actually quite blurry when did he became so familiar to us speaking all that was inside frankly. He used to beand is actually  among the ones to lighten the tense mood by his honest comments. Treasurer by post,he was suited for treasuring lot of gossips including all of us.During the last days in the college, among the memorable get-togethers was his treat after getting selected in Monnet Ispat.By that time we already had bored the feeling of leaving the college and sentiments were at height.Sometimes I remember he talked philosophical and words of value which kept our flying feet on ground. Sumit was among the ones whom we missed at parties and during fun filled hours.Presently he is working in Coal India Limited

LEO Tanmoy Sarkar: Well a heavy name with a quite heavier personality.First being called as Tamer and then President of our batch was suitable by all means and in all manners to represent our batch with pride. He was a multifaceted fashion freak(sorry ;))who initially seemed to be belonging to some royal background. Long bleached hair, colorful lens and a hush tone initially put us in doubt wether we will match up to his standards(sorry ;)) but we never knew that he will be among our darling friends who was and is really a keeper.A Ramkrishna Mission product with all the reasons to be popular in college when came in Leo club,we had an impression of having a kinda trend to induct famous public figures into the club. But gradually his beauty behind his beauty made all of us proud to have him in our group. His dancing and painting were one of them which came in surprise packages adding feathers to his cap.Despite his busy schedule as a president he never missed a chance to hangout and create moments of friendship.I remember when he used to hammer to conclude wednesday meetings, how hard it was for us to suppress our laughter cause all of us knew that he pretended to maintain the decorum of a president but inside he was our Tanmoy. His karizzma was a sensation in the college and I remember his courtesies to Deepti during first sponsership made us feel like beggars. It's not fair to talk about him so much when Deepti and Sumit got only few words but that is how he is,always pulling people, friends, relations, values and happiness. At present working in Nicco Corporations, Kolkata.

O' Rain

Raindrops sew the threads of bliss and drum to create a symphony, calling out  the world to get soaked in all of it, to dilute all your sorrows. Come walk with me, dance with me, and Sing with me in the rain.
The splashes of water and beads of pearl all over my face makes me feel to have all my sins rinsed off my skin and when I open my eyes to see how else have embraced the season of desires, I find that each and every minutest fragment of nature has draped the silver film to hold the cold of rain that might seep into our souls to revive the dryness within. The mammatus clouds plunge and hang down to closely look the effects of their kind gestures creating smiles, inviting tears, making moments. Mud-luscious soil that offers a soft ground for our feet and pass on the sensation throughout the body helps in inducing a strength to squeeze it between the fingers and the toe and shout aloud to match the pitch with that of thunders.
When I lie down on the ground, a bit floating in water and watch the drops falling down straight from the chest of the sky, sometimes I move to miss their hits but could not defeat all of them. They keep on hitting me till I get all drenched and surrender myself in this little game. I listen to the variant music they create, one while dripping down the core of the leaves into the lakes full of dancing holes and swimming ripples, while striking the tin roof and then sliding across its brim to make a curtain, while making smaller rivers across the roads, between the woods and into the rushing rivers. How alive and awakened everything in rain becomes as if everyone is thanking for this serendipity that refreshed the bond of nature with the nature.

Do we like Change?

For writing a new post with some different and eclectic topic, I have erased so many lines so many times. Today I want to sound smart, broad, enlightened and free. A long cherished dream that I really want to come true is something related to my art of writing. Though a cliche' that there is a writer in everybody' but it is true that expression of thoughts through writing or by keeping it safe inside in the mind makes a lot of difference. People bear differnt nature, different behaviour such that each one of us at some point of time inspire, teach and stimulate each one of us in one way or another. Take for example in our professional lives as a fresh graduate when we stepped in, we had an excitement to explore the new life and feel proud of ourselves. We met for the first time in our lives so many people around us talking, suggesting, chattering and making impressions in our minds. Before here, we had our self chosen group of friends with whom either we didnt notice outside world or we felt like having our own world. These are some tiptoed changes that creeped inside us in no time and we became big all of a sudden as a responsible part of society. The feeling freaks me out that some changes happen without our knowledge and any intimtaion.Today we have responsibilities of our work centres, we have a visiblity count among people whom we do not know, we possess a pose of an impostor that helps us in situation where we need to be starightforward or diplomatic with an ease, we have hangovers:good & bad from the work life that adds to the seriousness, we have turned into a more calculative and practical person giving more heed to righteousness over emotional wrongs and work over life. The changes are big enough. There is  a need for an introspection of how much of 'us' has remained inside.

Talk about quality of life. There is no meaning looking back in yore to compare our routine and hours because time changes and diorama shifts replacing friends with colleagues, assignments with projects, laughters with work smiles, passing time with rejuvenating youth and getting young with growing old. Every change is hard to adapt cause we feel that this is the best we have. Life has no such thinking and has basket of surprises which can be opened up only when we have a temptation for the upkeeps in life. Whimpering not always helps especially then when life is standing to welcome you with open arms to get embraced by the destiny with a courage to accept whatever it has for us and without any fear of getting cheated. The time we have seen so far was not that much bad and so it will be in the coming years. The only expectation that we should have from ourself is not to panic and take our souls to the peak of enjoyment where lies no complications, no hitches, no worries and a healthy acceptance for the changes happening in our lives.

You and Me

"Rythm of Love in the moonlit lake,
You and me in the heaven's sake,
Where stars sprinkle the presence of night
And ripples stay calm as a ruse to make.

The only sound of breaths we share
and the water becoming all amorous,
With the touch of two lovers all lost,
In the strings of harmony, in the nature's chorus."

Satyameva jayate-2

Another eye-opening and sensitive issue of our society that is one hard core truth not being accepted and understood the way it should be, despite the fact that every second child including me and you at some point of time is the victim. Child sexual abuse is quite common and to no surprise can be realised in our surroundings if we have an eye to see and recognise the perverts prevailing in our own neighbourhood in numbers. Indian society that is considered to have one of the most rich cultures when we talk about our behavioral attributes to our relatives and kin, hides several such issues of embarassment, humiliation and assault that is rarely surfaced and vindicated from the heavy heart of the victims. Cause the tender age that is unable to decide and open up while he/she is undergoing an emotional and physical torture becomes a robbed entity whose childhood has been turned into a hell. The child may prefer to forget and cut out this part of his/her life than to tell anyone and rekindle the pain of their pampered hearts. A child is much more adult thatn an adult is and has much more original and natural emotions that a grown up might have. These feelings unknowingly create a hesitation to share those things that might hurt or anger or frustrate their loved ones, no matter what and how badly they themselves are suffering. The hugeness of their concern and thinking is something that should be intuitively known to each and every parent so that they create such a bond that the child finds no difference in between him and them. There are possibilities that despite such intimacies and closeness, some factors might intimidate or refrain the child from speaking up and gather the courage to confront such beastful gestures but we are the only one who have to make sure that they are safe and secured.

The sickness of abusers can be found too common, some are daring to  put it into practice while some satisfy their delirious urges by indirect means but the most horrifying aspect is that in both the cases the victim is tormented equally. We may find people whose way of looking or talking or touching itself speaks up for their intentions and the dirtiness of mind. They might be all good in other activities and gestures but these uninvited courtesies make so many around them uncomfortable. We in our professional and social life are held among deluge of such people whose risque and gross manners make us feel like banging their heads against their walls and bring them in front of masses to open the cup of their mind to show how much frowsty flesh is in there. We know stuffs, we know our rights and power and thus are able to defeat their intentions but this in no manner reduces their number and changes their thinking. Kids who are not aware of the types of people around them, nor they have any idea of things that may be bad become easily accessible and tameable victims to them. And their understanding towards whatever is happening to them takes a lot of time to protest and confront them. By that time the child shrinks into his own cocoon and surrenders himself/herself to the situation . The pain, the mental trauma, the tormented soul and the raped childhood are something beyond our imagination. Everyone wants to look back in the garden of yore where lies their childhood, smiling and full of happiness. But some childhoods are like the darkest lanes with hounding voices of monsters that would haunt them whenever they would try to remember their past.

The survivors on the show gathered all the courage to reminisce once again that part of their life which they want to burn out and proved that will and audacity of hope can heal every wound. There are many untold stories in the eyes of your child that needs to be heard and a strict lesson equivalent to death needs to be given to all such disgraceful and sick minded people who lose their dignity by insulting one of the most natural forms of God.
Thank you Amir to unfold this chapter to make us realise that we need to be more vigilant towards our children and make them smart enough to root out such hateful practices. The relatives, friends, aquaintances and others are most welcome to share our happiness but they will never be allowed to own it.

Satyameva Jayate

Any social canker that we all  are aware of but pretend not to do anything with it succeds in fostering its roots deep into the society where somewhere, sometime we all get affected.Changes that we all want to see but think before making a step forward to make one, proves that our will still has to reach at the top where we would understand power in ourselves.
With all such themes, Amir Khan's production Satyameva Jayate came up with its first episode on female foeticide. It presented the case of three victimised and physically and mentally traumatised women whose pain and sufferings are beyond our tolerance limits. They seemed to be belonging to a different kind of world where fossilised thinking, beastness and barbarity has further defeated the purpose of humanity, a world of which we are not at all aquainted with. We cannot chalk out a single reason behind this sin because people involved belong to different backgrounds, different mindsets indicating that the custom of murdering is prevalent in various sections of the society. It might be our neighbourhood or own house. Amir has tried to show and put up a realisation that whatever we hear or read in the newspaper are not only true but the consequential effects are awfully disgraceful which never allows us to say ourselves humankind again.

We, the watchers cried at their story and wished that nothing such should be the story of anyone else. But here we realise that wishes are just to second that close your eyes and nightmare will vanish. It's true that we are only culpable of the crimes that we might not support but might not be against them.Contributing your conscience towards the upliftment of humanity, upliftment of India doesnt demand much of our efforts but just a commitment that we make our own decisions which would be unbiased, unaffected by the promoters of hateful acts.Killing a child based on its gender is something so disdainful that defeats all noble deeds that one might have done in his life cause it opens up that corner of his mind where devils live and waited for a chance to come out.Noone can decide anyone's life even if he is related to him/her by blood.Making an authoritorian command over others life shows the insecurity and power of the weakness inside, leading the person to dump his baseless thoughts on someone whom he considers weaker than him.

All the three ladies who survived in the mayhem sooner or later need a nation-wide salute that might help them in healing the lifelong wound they have on their hearts. It's something that can happen to anyone, anytime in life because even now our eyes and minds sometimes fail in recognising deceitful people. But if we are strong , our thinking is strong and we do have a respect for our own life, I think we can be a good warrior at this warfront. A message to all those sinners and murderers who still do not find out where are they wrong," You are born with a heart but you will die heartless; You are born with a mind but you willl die mindless; For all that you are doing you are already dead and your efforts in decorating your graveyard will one day make your self the charmer of this place."

For all such bravehearts who mustered up to pull themselves up together to live life again with a fresh start forgetting all that has happened, I can say," Life that turns out meaningless and unfair, calls that it's time to give your life a new meaning and those who listen to this call are the real heroes, heart made of rocks and hands made of self crated destiny."

A healing rythm:
